With only five days till we launch thirty days of prayer & purpose at St. Paul, I thought I’d share five Bible verses that speak to purpose in the Christian life.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.

Psalm 138:8

The LORD will vindicate me; your love, LORD, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.

Psalm 3:3

You, O Lord, are a shield about me; You are my glory, and the lifter of my head.

Romans 8:28

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
